Terms & Conditions

Clear terms for candidates and website users.

These Terms & Conditions explain the basis on which candidates may use Unisearch Careers, submit applications, communicate with us and participate in recruitment processes.

Last updated: September 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Unisearch Careers website and your participation in recruitment services provided through Unisearch Careers.

Unisearch Careers is the international recruitment division of Unisearch International. References to “Unisearch Careers”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms refer to the organisation operating the recruitment service at careers.unisearchinternational.com.

By using this website, submitting an application or providing information to us for recruitment purposes, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms.

2. Our Recruitment Service

Unisearch Careers may assist with candidate sourcing, candidate registration, screening, recruitment coordination and matching suitable candidates with employment opportunities made available through employers or recruitment partners.

The availability of particular services may vary according to the role, destination, employer and recruitment campaign.

Registration with Unisearch Careers does not guarantee employment, an interview, sponsorship, a visa or selection by an employer.

3. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information throughout the recruitment process.

You agree that you will not knowingly provide false, misleading or incomplete information about your identity, qualifications, employment history, experience, references, immigration history or eligibility for employment.

You are also responsible for informing us if information previously provided becomes inaccurate or materially changes.

4. Information and Documents

During a recruitment process, we may request documents including a CV, identification, passport information, education certificates, professional qualifications, employment evidence, references or other documents relevant to a vacancy.

Candidates must provide genuine documents that relate to them personally.

We may take reasonable steps to verify documents or information where verification is appropriate for a recruitment process.

If we reasonably believe that documents or information are fraudulent, altered, misleading or belong to another person, we may suspend or end the candidate's participation in the recruitment process.

5. Vacancies and Employer Information

Vacancies may be advertised or communicated based on information supplied by employers, recruitment partners or other authorised parties.

We aim to present vacancy information accurately, but job requirements, numbers of available positions, salary, benefits, location, working conditions, closing dates and recruitment timelines may be changed by the employer or relevant recruitment partner.

A vacancy may also be withdrawn, postponed or filled without prior notice.

6. Candidate Selection and Employment

Final hiring decisions are ordinarily made by the employer or authorised recruitment party responsible for the vacancy.

Unisearch Careers does not guarantee that a candidate will be shortlisted, interviewed or employed.

Where an offer of employment is made, candidates should carefully review the written offer, employment contract and applicable terms before accepting.

Employment relationships are generally between the candidate and the employing organisation unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

7. Visas, Work Permits and Immigration

International employment may require a visa, work permit, medical assessment, police clearance, professional registration or other approval.

Eligibility for immigration or employment permission is determined by the relevant authorities and applicable laws of the destination country.

Unisearch Careers cannot guarantee that a visa, work permit, sponsorship approval or other immigration permission will be granted.

Candidates remain responsible for providing accurate information and complying with lawful immigration requirements.

8. Recruitment Fees and Payments

Any fees or payments associated with a recruitment process must be clearly explained before payment is requested.

Unisearch Careers will not ask candidates to make undisclosed payments in exchange for a guaranteed job, guaranteed visa or guaranteed employer selection.

Where third-party costs may legitimately arise, such as passport charges, medical examinations, police clearance, professional registration, visa charges or government fees, candidates should ensure that the payment request is genuine and relates to the relevant process.

Candidates should never make payments to an individual or personal account claiming that payment will guarantee employment.

9. Recruitment Communications

By submitting your candidate profile, you understand that we may contact you regarding your application, document requirements, interviews, relevant vacancies and recruitment updates.

Communications may take place by email, telephone or another appropriate communication channel.

Candidates should take reasonable steps to verify communications claiming to come from Unisearch Careers if they appear unusual or request sensitive information or payment.

Official recruitment enquiries may be directed to admin@careers.unisearchinternational.com.

10. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful recruitment-related purposes.

You must not:

  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the website.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or candidate information.
  • Upload malicious software, harmful files or unlawful content.
  • Submit applications using another person's identity without lawful authority.
  • Use automated systems to abuse or overload the application service.
  • Use information from the website for fraudulent or misleading recruitment activity.

We may take reasonable measures to protect the website and recruitment service from abuse, fraud or security threats.

11. Limitation of Responsibility

We aim to operate our recruitment service professionally and carefully. However, recruitment outcomes may depend on employers, recruitment partners, government authorities and other third parties outside our direct control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for decisions made independently by employers, immigration authorities, professional regulators or other third parties.

We are also not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a candidate or by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Suspension or Removal from a Recruitment Process

We may suspend, decline or end a candidate's participation where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • Information supplied appears false or materially misleading.
  • Documents appear fraudulent or altered.
  • A candidate behaves abusively, unlawfully or dishonestly.
  • The relevant vacancy is withdrawn or filled.
  • The candidate no longer meets the employer's requirements.
  • Continuing the recruitment process would create a legal, regulatory, security or safeguarding concern.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information submitted through Unisearch Careers is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

The Privacy Notice explains the types of information we collect, how information may be used, when it may be shared and the rights available to candidates in relation to their personal information.

You can read the Privacy Notice at:

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our recruitment services, website, business arrangements or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this website and will show the date of the most recent update.

15. Applicable Law

These Terms are intended to operate alongside any mandatory laws and regulations that apply to the recruitment activity, candidate or employment destination concerned.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or reduce any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
